Andre Kertesz, born Kertesz Andor, was a Hungarian photographer who fled to New York during World War II. He is known for his groundbreaking photographic compositions and the photo essay.

Photolithography is a photomechanical printing process. The image isnt made in a darkroom. Rather, the photographers negative is transferred in a photographic process onto a chemically treated, light sensitive metal plate, which is used to print the image with ink.Offset photolithography, is a method of printing in which the images on metal plates are transferred (offset) to rubber blankets or rollers and then to the print media. Photolithography, when done well, can produce prints of fine detail and fidelity. The photosensitivity of the plates can hold extremely high resolutions.
